There are numerous ways to connect and get involved with Project Transformation Indiana!
Our program for elementary school children operates at host churches in the Greater Indianapolis Area, Monday – Thursday, and requires many volunteers to operate! We are grateful for our volunteers! This summer we are using a volunteer platform called GivePulse. With this new platform, you will be able to see all the days we need reading volunteers and meals provided and you can sign up to volunteer based on your availability! You can get involved in the following ways:
Reading volunteers listen to a child read and discuss the story with them in a positive and encouraging environment. In 2021, reading will take place at Cumberland United Methodist Church, Mondays through Thursdays from 10:15-11:45 am starting June 8th through July 21st. Click here to sign up!
Bring Friday lunch to eat with the college interns
On Fridays, our young adults engage in spiritual development, vocational discernment, and program planning as an intern community. Sitting down for a shared meal and conversation is a great way to build relationships with our college students. Lunches happen on Fridays at 11:30 am at Meridian Street UMC beginning June 4th and ending July 23rd. If you are interested in providing lunch for 8-10 interns, click here to sign up!
Support us by visiting our wishlist or sharing it with friends! There you will find books and supplies needed to make a fun-filled summer for our children. Donate and make our wishlist come true! Check out our wishlist!
Pray with Project Transformation Indiana
Whether or not you are able to serve directly with PT, we invite you to join us in surrounding our children, interns, families, churches and volunteers in prayer.
The opportunities to get involved are limited only by your interests! Contact Sarah Fuquay at email@example.com if there are other ways you might be interested in volunteering your time. We’ll look forward to hearing from you.
