Serving as a House Pastor with Project Transformation offers a summer of hands-on ministry experience with college students.

House Pastors cultivate the intentional community component of Project Transformation’s summer internship program.  This includes:

  • Creating a supportive environment for the interns through providing encouragement and emotional support.  This includes organizing social activities, modeling servant leadership, and developing genuine relationships.
  • Making intentional space for intern spiritual growth during the summer.  This includes planning and facilitating a weekly worship service, morning devotions, and a small group or Bible study.
  • Creating a culture of hospitality through the coordination of dinner volunteers and coaching interns on building relationships with volunteers and donors.
  • Managing housing operations in the intern community, including overseeing chores, shopping for groceries, addressing community needs, and communicating announcements.

Although the House Pastor experience does differ from a summer intern, many of your questions may be answered by our summer internship FAQ page.
