Volunteer Opportunities

There are numerous ways to connect and get involved with Project Transformation North Georgia!

Our program for elementary school children operates at three site churches in the Greater Indianapolis Area, Monday – Thursday. This day camp requires hundreds of volunteers to operate! You can get involved in the following ways:

Assist in coding and sorting our library books  If you have a group looking to volunteer Aug-May, reach out to us at tshuman@ptnorthgeorgia.org  to schedule a time to help us set up our reading libraries.
Read One-on-one with children (Monday – Thursday, 9:30am – 12:00pm) Sign up will begin in the Spring of 2019.
Bring dinner to college interns (Sunday – Thursday evenings) Volunteers are needed to provide dinner to our college interns living in community. Sign ups will being in the Spring of 2019.
Donating Supplies (ongoing) Check out our wish list!
Family Fun Nights (twice in the summer) Provide a meal for our children and families (approximately 100).
Pray with Project Transformation North Georgia! Whether or not you are able to serve directly with PT, we invite you to join us in surrounding our children, interns, families, churches, and volunteers in prayer.

The opportunities to get involved are limited only by your interests! Contact Diane Ward at ward@ptnorthgeorgia.org  if there are other ways you might be interested in volunteering your time with our kids. We’ll look forward to hearing from you.
