Mission Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Mission of Project Transformation is to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships.<\/p>\n
Vision Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\nWe envision a world that is rooted in love, pursues the equity of all people, and amplifies God’s call on every life.<\/p>\n
Anti-racist\/open and affirming statement:<\/strong><\/p>\nProject Transformation believes all people are of sacred worth. We value and affirm mutuality and
\ndiversity. We recognize that systemic injustice continues to harm individuals and communities. As we
\nlive out our Christian faith, we will stand against discrimination and inequity to create a community of
\nbelonging.
\nProject Transformation defines these three phrases in this way:
\n1. All people: every gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, and
\nof every economic, immigration, educational, social status, and more.
\n2. Systemic injustice: people in some social groups, including but not limited to BIPOC and
\nLGBTQIA+ communities, have historically and institutionally had less power, fewer opportunities,
\nand less social, economic, and political inclusion.
\n3. Community of belonging: we create safe spaces where people can show up as their whole,
\nauthentic selves. We cultivate brave spaces where people share and grow together as teachers
\nand learners. We continue to deepen our practice of restorative justice where mutual
\nrelationships are the heart of community building.<\/p>\n
Time Commitments:<\/strong><\/p>\nRetreat style training in Oklahoma City, OK: <\/em>, Monday, May 19 -Friday, May 23rd, ALL DAY,<\/p>\nLodging Provided and Required.<\/p>\n
Site Training:<\/em> Tuesday, May 27th-Friday, May 30th, ALL DAY<\/p>\nWeekly Schedule:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\nMonday-Thursday, 8:30am-4pm<\/p>\n
Friday 9am-noon (afternoon office hours as needed)<\/p>\n
