The time expectations can be great, but the potential for personal rewards that come from this kind of commitment are even greater. We build these teams by grouping interns together based on their strengths, interests, and personalities. The following list should give you an idea of the passions we strive to include on each team:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Young Artists Coordinator &#8211; <span class=\"TextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\">This PT Intern is never short of colored pencils or good dance moves! <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\">The Young Artists Coordinator runs <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun ContextualSpellingAndGrammarErrorV2Themed SCXW154495497 BCX8\">the<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\"> program that<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\"> supports <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun ContextualSpellingAndGrammarErrorV2Themed SCXW154495497 BCX8\">child<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\">learning in visual arts, theater, creative writing, poetry, music, dance<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\">, and more!<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\">It\u2019s<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\"> the Young Artists Coordinator\u2019s job to<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\"> spark creativity<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\"> in children<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\">, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\">help them <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW154495497 BCX8\">learn new and fun ways of self-expression, build self-confidence, and gain an appreciation of the arts.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW154495497 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>Movement Minutes Coordinator &#8211; <span class=\"TextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">This PT Intern is usually referred to as \u201cCoach\u201d and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">will <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">most definitely need a whistle on their lanyard. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">Th<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">e Movement Minutes Coordinator<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">runs the<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\"> physical activity<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\"> part of the summer program<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">(Basketball, Sharks and Minnows, and Freeze Tag are just a few of our favorite games.) <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">It\u2019s<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\"> this intern\u2019s job to <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">promote wellness and healthy living, build teamwork, and increase self-confidence<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\"> among children! <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW137165775 BCX8\">\u202f<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW137165775 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>Team Captain &#8211; <span class=\"TextRun SCXW258054597 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW258054597 BCX8\">This PT Intern know<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW258054597 BCX8\">s<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW258054597 BCX8\"> each child\u2019s strengths and needs like the back of their hand. RIGHT <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun ContextualSpellingAndGrammarErrorV2Themed SCXW258054597 BCX8\">HERE!\u201c<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW258054597 BCX8\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW258054597 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>Middle School Program Intern &#8211; <span class=\"TextRun SCXW205758234 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW205758234 BCX8\">Middle School interns create a fun, high-energy, relational environment for youth (middle schoolers) to feel safe, build confidence, and cultivate leadership through engaging activities. Interns <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW205758234 BCX8\">are responsible for<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW205758234 BCX8\"> implementing curriculum that nurtures belonging and fosters a love for <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW205758234 BCX8\">reading through<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW205758234 BCX8\"> STEAM activities, project-based learning, and creative arts. Program components <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun ContextualSpellingAndGrammarErrorV2Themed SCXW205758234 BCX8\">include:<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW205758234 BCX8\"> icebreakers, discussion circles, independent reading, TAG time, book clubs and journaling.
