About Camp

Even though we cannot hold in-person summer camp in 2020, we are thankful to connect with your families in a new way. this summer, we are offering a variety of options for families and children to participate in summer camp. You can register for one of these activities verse

The first one is through supplies distribution. Every week this summer, Project Transformation DC will distributing arts and crafts and recreation supplies to families. These distributions will take place at our Host Churches and will follow CDC recommendations on cleanliness and social distancing.

The second option is a virtual summer camp experience. We have set-up a website that will be update weekly with daily summer camp activities. The website will have videos to lead children through activities we would normally be doing at our camps. The supplies for the activities will be part of the weekly supplies distribution.

The third option is for your child to participate in daily video conferences. During these conferences, background checked volunteers will read aloud and check in with the children. We hope this allows your child a chance to connect with other kids and have another adult to talk to during this time of uncertainty.

We look forward to connecting with you in a new way and thank you for your patience as we move forward with our virtual summer camp!
