Elementary Program

Project Transformation’s summer day camp programs for elementary students focus on enriching the mind, body, and spirit. We place a unique focus on improving literacy and social-emotional development. Project Transformation operates eight-week summer day camps serving children entering grades 1-5 in two neighborhoods in Pine Bluff. Families may pay $20 per child or $50 per family for an entire summer of enrichment and activities.

Each day, children read one-to-one with community volunteers and participate in activity-based literacy intervention. Children also participate in daily enrichment activities including recreational play and exercise, creative arts, and interaction with our young adults and community volunteers, who inspire and encourage them daily. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

Camp begins on June 4th and will run through July 24th this year. Families are invited to visit St. Luke or Lakeside United Methodist Churches for information about applying or may apply online.
