In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Project Transformation listened to the needs of our neighbors, closely monitored the guidelines of federal and local governments, and worked diligently with our board of directors, PT National, and community partners to plan our response to this crisis. Our decision-making process for the summer program is guided by the following key principles:
With the expected spread of COVID-19 over the next several weeks and months, Project Transformation has made the difficult decision as a national network to offer virtual programming and supply distribution instead of our usual summer day camp for summer 2020. The safety and health of everyone involved with Project Transformation remains our highest priority. Please read our full press release for details regarding how we have worked to adapt our program model for this summer to meet the greatest needs of our community.
For the first time, Project Transformation programming will be accessible to all children and youth across the state! This will include engaging videos focused on social-emotional learning, reading, and camp-like enrichment activities delivered by young adults who will work collaboratively across the Project Transformation network.

Site locations in Oklahoma for resource distribution are still being determined. As those decisions are made, we will update our community through our website and social media platforms.
