Job Description-2023 AmeriCorps

3 C Video

Mission Statement:

The Mission of Project Transformation is to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships.

Vision Statement:

We envision a world that is rooted in love, pursues the equity of all people, and amplifies God’s call on every life.

Anti-racist/open and affirming statement:

Project Transformation believes all people are of sacred worth. We value and affirm mutuality and
diversity. We recognize that systemic injustice continues to harm individuals and communities. As we
live out our Christian faith, we will stand against discrimination and inequity to create a community of
belonging.
Project Transformation defines these three phrases in this way:
1. All people: every gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, and
of every economic, immigration, educational, social status, and more.
2. Systemic injustice: people in some social groups, including but not limited to BIPOC and
LGBTQIA+ communities, have historically and institutionally had less power, fewer opportunities,
and less social, economic, and political inclusion.
3. Community of belonging: we create safe spaces where people can show up as their whole,
authentic selves. We cultivate brave spaces where people share and grow together as teachers
and learners. We continue to deepen our practice of restorative justice where mutual
relationships are the heart of community building.
