There are numerous ways to connect and get involved with Project Transformation Rio Texas this summer! You can sign up and see all the opportunities here.

Reading Buddies  Monday-Thursday, 10am-12pm

Caring volunteers are needed to read with children in grades 1st-6th, one-on-one, each day for 30 minutes per child. Volunteers can sign-up for one day or multiple days throughout the summer and no prior experience is needed! All Reading Buddy volunteers are required to pass a criminal background check and will need to complete an online training prior to their first shift. Dinner Volunteers   Sunday-Wednesday

Volunteers are needed to provide dinner to our dedicated collegiates in our 3 geographies throughout the summer, as well as for all PT collegiates during training week in June. This is a great opportunity to serve, encourage, and get to know the young people who are making a difference! Click on the location below for full details and to sign up.

Reading Testers   June 8, 12, 13 & 14 and July 19, 20, 21, 24, & 25

Current or retired educators are needed to complete simple running records and surveys with children 1st-6th grades in PT’s summer camp program. Volunteers will be assisting to collect pre and post-reading data.

Pray with Project Transformation Rio Texas! Whether or not you are able to serve directly with PT, we invite you to join us in surrounding our children, interns, families, churches, and volunteers in prayer.

As a way to share stories of faith, PT will be offering a weekly Friday devotional, Meditations for Transformation, throughout the summer via email. Sign-up here to receive the weekly devotional.
