Dear PT Friends and Supporters,

After 19 years of service and faithful leadership with Project Transformation, Casey Mellody is stepping down from her role as CEO at the end of November to pursue an exciting career opportunity. Mellody and the PT National team are working closely with the board of directors during this transition to ensure the continuity of leadership and momentum for our national network of chapters.

Prior to serving in the role of CEO of PT National, Mellody served as the founding VP of Programs for over eight years. Mellody has played a crucial role in program development, quality, and network expansion during her tenure with PT.

Mellody shares, “Project Transformation truly shaped my young life in indelible ways. As I move forward, I will continue to lead in the PT way–bold, honest, hopeful, and faith-filled. To our donors, partners, alumni, and friends, I am so grateful for your support of Project Transformation. Because of your partnership, PT is the best place for young adults to experience ministry, children to progress in literacy and churches to reach out to their neighbors.”

“Your support truly transforms communities, and I’m so grateful that it has also deeply transformed me. I know that God will continue to guide this mission to beautiful things with your continued support. Please be in prayer for the search team and for our board during the transition.”

Board chair, Dub Newman, says, “We are grateful for Casey’s faithful leadership to Project Transformation. Her work alongside the PT National team to secure the investment of the Lilly Endowment has positioned Project Transformation to deepen and expand our impact across the nation. This has launched an exciting new era for PT!”

“As we celebrate our 10th year, we look forward to the next 10 years. The National team and board are well equipped to lead PT under a new strategic plan which has been shaped by the whole PT network. Our board will soon begin a national search for the next leader of this transformative ministry and are confident that we will identify the right person for a new season of national impact.”
