Dear Friends and Supporters,
Eric Lindh, the founding CEO of Project Transformation National, announced he will be stepping down at the end of June after 19 years of dedicated leadership at Project Transformation. Lindh will work closely with the board of directors during this transition to ensure PT National maintains its momentum of strengthening and supporting the national network of PT chapters. PT National’s current Vice President of Programs, Casey Mellody, has been appointed interim CEO effective July 1, ensuring a smooth transition while the board launches a search for the next CEO.
Prior to his nine-year tenure as the CEO of PT National, Lindh served as the Executive Director of PT North Texas for 10 years. In 2015, Lindh secured an initial grant to form the national organization of Project Transformation. Lindh worked closely with PT National’s founding board of directors to develop a national replication strategy and raise over $3 million to launch and support seven new affiliated chapters. Under his leadership, PT National grew its base of donors and partners to provide greater centralized support for the PT network and strengthen the organization’s capacity to positively impact young people’s lives. Today, the Project Transformation network consists of over 30 employees and approximately 200 young adults who implement Project Transformation’s programs for over 1,000 children and youth in dozens of churches and communities across the country.
Lindh shares, “It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to serve Project Transformation at the local and national level over the past 19 years. Words cannot express my deep appreciation and gratitude for the support I have received from so many people over the years to further advance PT’s mission. I will forever cherish the relationships that I have formed with the staff, young adults, board members, and partners during this journey. Like so many others who are a part of the PT family, I too am leaving transformed.”
“Thanks to Eric’s leadership, we have a strong national team of talented staff and committed board members who are ready to embrace several exciting opportunities on the horizon,” says Dub Newman, PT National Board Chair. “We are grateful for Eric’s long-standing passion and dedication to Project Transformation. We are confident that we will identify the right person to lead the organization forward. Casey’s selection as interim CEO underscores our board’s strong commitment to continue Project Transformation National’s support for the PT network of chapters and strengthen our impact across the country.”
