Thank you for your interest in serving with Project Transformation Tennessee!
We are currently accepting applications for our Afterschool Program Site Assistants in Nashville, One-Year Fellows, and Summer Interns for our programs in Middle and West Tennessee. We use one universal application for all positions, which will prompt the applicant to denote which positions they would like to be considered for. Scroll to the bottom of this page to apply.
Competitive intern applicants will be dynamic young adults who:
A PT summer holds experiences that you will never forget: dancing, laughing, realizing a passion, witnessing the profound love of God. Here’s a quick overview of what our interns do:
In many ways working with Project Transformation in the summer program exceeds participating in a summer job and crosses into a summer life. The time expectations can be great, but the potential for personal rewards that come from this kind of commitment are even greater. While much is expected of each intern, much is given in return in the form of love from children and families, support and fun from the intentional community, and the energy created by exploring your own personal potential to impact the world around you.
Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Clarksville: Interns earn $3,200 for their 9 weeks of service. The internship runs from Monday, May 31 to Friday, July 30, 2021.
Memphis: Interns earn $2,496 for their 7 weeks of service. (The length of service is based on Shelby County Schools dates of instruction.) The internship runs from Monday, June 14 to Friday, July 30, 2021.
*Note: The intern pay package has traditionally included room and board. Housing will not be provided for interns in summer 2021 due to the risk of spread of COVID-19 in community housing. Instead, the intern pay has been increased.
