Project Transformation’s service terms are for young adults who have completed at least their freshman year of college and are interested in devoting a summer or year of their lives to be in service to others. The program is designed to offer young adults a hands-on opportunity to build lasting relationships with children and youth, live in intentional community, experience cultural and socio-economic diversity, and explore various careers in service or ministry. PT Corps Members become AmeriCorps members during their service and earn a living stipend plus an education award for their service. As a United Methodist affiliated organization, Project Transformation also offers PT Corps Members opportunities to grow in their faith journey and discern their calling during their service. To clearly separate these activities from the AmeriCorps-funded program, PT Corps Members have the option of participating in these faith-based components.
